It seems a bit strange to be writing about the subject of male laser hair removal since only a few years ago laser hair removal was almost exclusively performed on women.  Men have always been concerned with facial hair removal when it came to shaving their whiskers but laser hair removal on men is just recently becoming acceptable to the masses.

It’s not that laser hair removal is any more difficult to perform on men.  It’s just that men tend to be a little bit behind the game when it comes to grooming techniques.  For century’s, men have been been concerned with facial hair removal.  The day in and day out routine of waking up and shaving yesterday’s stubble off has been a time honored tradition among men around the globe.

Only recently have men started accepting facial hair laser removal as an acceptable method of removing facial hair.  It makes sense for men to concern themselves with facial hair laser removal since facial hair is somewhat out of vogue these days.  Undergoing this type of procedure can save men hundreds upon hundreds of hours of time that they spend in front of the mirror shaving throughout their lives.  Many men are looking into laser facial hair removal because they really loathe the act of shaving.  Let’s face it.  People like things that make their lives more simple.  Having facial hair removed with laser treatments will certainly simplify a man’s life.

The most popular use of lasers for hair removal on men is laser back hair removal.  Nearly all men have back hair to some degree.  For some reason, chest hair is considered “manly” and back hair is considered gross.  Who knows why this is.  I certainly don’t.  Many men shave their backs with the help from their wife or girlfriend but this must be done everyday and it can become quite a burden.  If you think it takes a long time for a guy to shave his face every morning.  Think of all the time that goes into shaving a guys back.  Laser back hair removal can save a man countless hours of primping time.  Most guys don’t like to spend any more time than is necessary in front of the mirror anyway.  If lasers can be used to remove a man’s back hair so he doesn’t need to go through the time consuming process of shaving his back, then by all means, do it.  Many men are in the situation of not having anyone to shave their back for them.  Male laser hair removal is a perfect solution for men who are in this boat.

Laser hair removal just makes sense for men.  It can save so much time.  You know the old saying, “time is money”? Think of all the time that a guy can save if he didn’t have to shave every day.  Okay, you don’t have to think about it, I’ll do it for you.  If a man spends 15 minutes a day shaving and he shaves every day of the year, that works out to be 91.25 hours that he spends with the razor in one year alone.  In ten years, he  would have spent 38 entire days of those ten years shaving.  If you figure that a man probably starts shaving at the age of 15 and lives to an average age of 75 in the US, that means that in that man’s lifetime, he will have spent a whopping 228 days in front of the mirror shaving.  This is only factoring in facial hair removal.  If I were to calculate back hair removal, the numbers would be staggering.

Can you see why now why it makes sense that more and more men are looking into male laser hair removal?  If you are one of these men, check out the “Learning Center” in the right sidebar of my website for more information on Male laser hair removal and laser hair removal prices.
